1. Prepare the machine and cup
Fill the tank with suitable fresh water and let the machine warm up according to its manual. Preheat the cup if your model provides a suitable function or method.
2. Unwrap the pod and centre it
Open the wrapper just before preparation. Place a fresh E.S.E. pod flat in the centre of its designated holder. Take care not to fold the paper and close the brew group according to the instructions.
3. Extract your espresso
Start the extraction. Use the product recommendation and your own taste to guide the amount in your cup. A fixed extraction time does not suit every machine and every blend equally well.
4. Remove the pod and keep the machine clean
After extraction, remove the used pod as described in your machine's manual. Clean and descale the machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. A used pod is not intended for another espresso.
