Why do the pods say 44 mm?

This measurement identifies the E.S.E. format. It helps you recognise the right system. Your machine must still be explicitly approved for E.S.E. 44 mm pods: a similar shape alone is not enough.

Which machine do I need?

You need a pod machine explicitly compatible with E.S.E. Some portafilter machines also support E.S.E. with a suitable insert. Check the model specifications and manual before ordering pods.

E.S.E., soft pads and capsules

These formats are not interchangeable. E.S.E. is a compact espresso portion in filter paper. Larger soft coffee pads, Nespresso capsules and other capsules each require their own system.

Which variety suits me?

Look at the blend, roast and flavour information. The Arabica percentage tells you about the blend's composition; on its own, it is not a reliable measure of strength or acidity. The documented characteristics on the product page will help you make your first choice.
